As I open the page of the blog, I can't believe it's been a year since my last post. The title of that last post, comes to my mind every day, a year after. Yes, it has been a loooong winter. Needless to say, new yorkers are longing for Spring. We can't wait for warmer wind, more colors on people's outfits, flowers, ice-cream. I cannot wait. I feel the same way about winter this year, but I can't denied that some much has happened throughout this one year. I finally moved from a terrible someone's house and now I live on a fabulous apartment. In this fabulous apartment I live with my fabulous fiancé. Yes, I am engaged. I have found the love of my life. I have completed my masters and now I am concluding my thesis. Everything seems to be following into its place. I can fell at almost all times that things are happening exactly the way they were suppose to happen. However... and in this city we have all learn that there is always a however, a but, a on the other hand... not all is perfect. You see, the living in NYC is cool just for the sake of it. This is an amazing city in which you can meet amazing people. But this is also a very cold city, full of challenges. I most of time call it the city if NO. No I can't help. No you're not good enough. No we're close. No this , no that.
Am I wrong? Is that really a cool living? Maybe is just life. Maybe this is what life is all about.
So, I decided, the cool and the not so cool facts of this past year are still worth to be told - and they will be told. I've selected 6 great stories - how I love craigslist, how I got a piano for free, how I found the love of my life, how Americans still surprise me with their idiosyncrasies, how is fun to plan a wedding, even on a budget, and ... I'll figure something out.
